News from the Adirondacks comes in many different forms - magazines, newspapers, radio, and television, and from the tourists who visit and fall in love with the beauty of the area.
Radio and TV news can be found on WCKM 98.5, WCQL 95.9, WWSC 1450, WVNY 22 (an ABC affiliate) WPTZ 5 (NBC affiliate), WIRY 1340 (Plattsburgh, local college and high school sports) WCEF (Plattsburg, a mountain lake PBS stations) and WNBZ am 1240 (serving Saranack Lake, Lake Placid, and Tupper Lake).
Other news can be found in the newspapers such as the Press-Republican (local daily newspaper from Clinton, Essex, and Franklin counties), the Clarkson Integrator, the Post-Star (Glens Falls, the home newspaper of the Adirondack region of New York. the Little Falls Evening Times (Little Falls, Herkimer County's oldest daily newspaper, It serves Little Falls, Dolgeville, St. Johnsville, and the surrounding townships. and the Herkimer Evening Telegram (Herkimer County's local news source).
